  • Notes: Random design – replicating French style. Needlepoint. See Lace – A History By Santina M. Levey Page 257 dated circa 1700. Cuff made as a complete unit, probably within a gentleman’s household. Last use, attached with brown thread. Note position of stain – cuff went into food or wine? Added Needlepoint embellishments.
