      Thanks for sharing your knowledge regarding this post. Whilst we are able to purchase this lace fairly easily in this part of the world I’m not sure that much if any is actually made locally. I had a difficult task in purchasing Filet tools recently and had to send to the US for them. So any other information regarding this subject would be gratefully received. Am I right in assuming that this piece is Mondano on the basis of the knotted embroidery and that Filet is flatter looking with linen stitch. Also is Lacis a generic or group term? I understand that Buratto is made differently but Buratto, Mondano (Italian) and Filet (French) all seem to come under Lacis heading depending on which article one reads! What is your understanding please?
